Video games are sooo relaxing bc they truly take you out of the world and require your whole focus. I played the Hogwarts Legacy came when it came out and it was amazing!! Highly recommend!
Well for one I really get inspired by just reading your Substack. I also find that video games are so inspiring (I have been playing Gris and planning on making one as an ex game design student). I find that watching sketchbook tours on YouTube can be inspiring for me. Instead of using Pinterest, I have been using Awwwards and artist/designers portfolios that I come across on Awwwards or design sites. it’s winter where I live but the outdoors are the number one source of inspiration.
How cool that you are looking into creating your own video game ❣️ I totally forgot the immersive experience that video game can be and I am excited to discover new games to play. And I didn’t know about sketchbook tours being a thing until my friend introduced me to them recently. It’s open a new world to me :,) super inspiring. Also thanks for introducing me to to Awwwards, I wasn’t familiar but what a great place to find inspiration outside social media. Sending a warm hug to your side of the world ❣️and thanks for reading me!
Never thought of frames painting! Will consider now 🤍
Also, your words about going alone to galleries, and other solo-dates resonated with me. I think I tend to postpone the joy of the activities that I “usually” do with someone… your post inspired me to go on more solo dates.🍓
The Gentlewoman is so good! Highly recommend reading the book Modern Manners by Gentlewoman too! BTW — I write essays that dive into the complexities of modern culture, love, and friendship with a critical eye and an open heart.
