I didn’t know the Books to Prisoners program existed, so thank you for sharing! This is inspiring me to read all my unread books and cull through our personal library.

The vanishing half was one of my favourites too! I just recommended how to say babylon and their eyes were watching god! Although I know you’re trying to be good 😅

So grateful for this list of reads as I'm getting back into my favourite childhood past-time - thank you. Let me know the name of the Spanish book you read too; I'm trying to keep my Spanish up now that I'm not studying it at university and am always on the look out for recs!

I love this! I have a stack of TBR beside my bedside table, and I don't let it get any higher than my bedside table!

But now I want impressionist picnics, Nara, and invisible things .... hahaha

I love this! Recently I picked up 8 new books from a thrift shop, but because I had recently decluttered so many and had read most of the ones that were left, I was ok with it. I have a 'one in-one out' policy and so will have to get rid of some more.

I agree that "Like any other habit, reading is something you have to practice every day". I have read in the last few months than in the last few years because I have carved out time to read every single day.

This is such a good reminder for me, as I also have about 50 books to be read, with the goal to read them all. I also pick them up in thrift stores, and my condo’s little library, and get given books as gifts. But I really need to sort them out and keep just the ones I really want to read. Thank you so much. 💕

I have an amazing anthology book cowritten by Sheila Heti, called “women in clothes” that I would highly recommend.
