Sharing each issue of Sobremesa is always exciting to me, but as a lover of food and everything related to sharing a table with my community, this one is extra special. This month’s guest is Brittany Chow, a food artist, baker, and creator behind Bok Choy Angel, based in Vancouver. I had the opportunity to see Brittany’s work in person this past Spring at an event in Gastown, and I instantly fell in love with her creations.

Everything Brittany makes is beautiful and honest to me. I just knew I wanted to know more about her process and talk to her about all the work she is doing to bring people together through food. I am very grateful for her openness to share her creative process with us, the good and the bad of being a baker, her sources of inspiration, and much more!

Make your drink of choice, your favorite snack, and grab your seat at the table!
