Sobremesa with Sandy Sanchez
A conversation about small pleasures, and building a home full of special objects
For this issue of Sobremesa, I interviewed Sandy Sanchez — writer of one of my favorite newsletters, Small Pleasures. When I started this series she was one of the first people I wanted to feature as I deeply resonate with her appreciation for the little (big) things in life. When Sandy and I got together on a video call at the beginning of the year to brainstorm different ways of working together, I was enchanted by the fact that it felt like speaking to an old friend although it was our first speaking on a call. One of the most beautiful things about living in these digital times is that we can make connections with people on the Internet. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!

Meet Sandy 👛
I’m Sandy Sanchez. I’m a writer, brand strategist, and content creator based in Brooklyn. I currently work at Headspace as a Senior Copywriter. I love writing about interiors, culture, and everyday delights for my newsletter, Small Pleasures, and about home and design for publications like Architectural Digest. My ideal days consist of going to my favorite neighborhood shops, visiting art museums and bookstores, making a good meal, redecorating my space, putting together outfits, and walking with my dog, Noguchi.
